Our History
Trafford Trampoline Club was set up in the 1970s when it was known as Sale Sauterelles and trained at Sale Leisure Centre.
A reorganisation of trampolining in the Borough resulted in a merger of Sale Sauterelles, Sale Moor Eagles and Wellacre Junior School Trampoline Club into Trafford Trampoline Club. A Centre of Excellence was set up at George H Carnall Sports Centre, Urmston, Manchester, where we continue to train on 2 nights per week.
The Club started life off under the British Trampoline Federation which later was taken into the umbrella organisation of British Gymnastics.
The Club has grown over the years forming links with local schools, supporting their development of after school clubs, helping in GCSE and A-Level Trampolining PE.
Trafford TC is a competitive trampoline club catering for all levels of competitor from local inter club competitions up to British National Trampoline Competitions.
Our goal is to always work in a friendly safe environment to the pace and ability of the individual gymnast enabling them to achieve their full potential.
At present we have a range of coaches within the club from basic level up to a high-performance coach who is also a coaching tutor and assessor.
All coaches are DBS enhanced checked and up to date with Safeguarding procedures and members of British Gymnastics. We have two Welfare Officers in the Club, one of which will be present at all training sessions to deal with any safety issues.
We operate an open-door policy enabling you to see training sessions providing it does not contravene our Health and Safety regulations and welcome the support of parents/guardians.
